What it means to be a SplendidPalate.com affilliate:

• You will earn up to 10% on all sales* generated by the assigned trackable URL's/links placed on your site. The minimum commission you will earn is 5%; if you have a related site with a Google page rank of 4 or more and are willing to prominently feature Splendid Palate links** and products you can earn more:
  • Sites that specialize in high end gourmet foods, gift baskets or corporate gifts can earn a 7.5% commission.
    
  • Sites specializing in French or Italian Products (gourmet, gift or related products and services) can earn a 10% commission.
    

  *Commissions are calculated prior to the addition of tax and shipping charges
  **Commission level will be determined by Splendid Palate and based on prominence of Splendid Palate links on your site. In cases when links are not as prominent as consdered best effective, multiple page links may be needed for earning the higher commission rates.

• You will earn referral fees on all of the hundres of gourmet food products and gifts that Splendid Palate offers.
• We provide you with an assigned trackable URL that is exclusive to your website and that can be used to link to any of our product pages.
• You have easy access to our affiliate area 24 hours a day/7 days a week (except for during maitenance periods).

Email Marketing
If you are interested in increasing your chances for affiliate sales, the inclusion of Splendid Palate products and links within your emails is one great way to do it. We are happy to provide you with images and additional information for the promotion of Splendid Palate products in your opt-in email campaigns (only opt-in email campaigns will be considered, Splendid Palate does not participate with spam under any circumstances). Once registered as an affiliate you should send us a written request via email or fax detailing your email campaign. We can either select some products for you, or you can propose products of interest. Once we approve your proposed use/campaign we will send you images and information with a single use release.

Exclusive Discounts for your Patrons and Subscribers
If you have a members only area, premium registration or send email/newsletter campaigns of 3,500 or more we would be pleased to create an exclusive coupon or discount for special promotions to your customers. it's a great way to announce your affiliate relationship with Splendid Palate as well as offer value to your subscribers. Past discounts and promotions have included: dollar off savings, free shipping promotions, gifts with purchase and percentages off.
