Description   An authentic and beautiful presentation of French butter cookies from Bretagne / Brittany.  The lovel gift tin, known as a "bo�te � sucre" (sweets box) in France is decorated with a design inspired by the famous Quimper Faience pottery.  The tin contains approximately three dozen crispy and perfectly sweet butter cookies from French Patisserie Le Guillou.  These cookies are some of the finest and most traditional examples of French sweets from the Brittany region.  They utilizing two ingredients that the area is prized for - butter and salt (the salt is for enhanced flavor -- though these cookies are not at all salty in taste).  We enjoy serving these cookies along side ice cream, coffee and tea.  They always bring a pleasant smile across our friends' lips.  The tins vary in color, either yellow or white as shown in the picture.  We will ship whatever color is currently on hand.  325 grams/11.46 oz.
